How local plans might better support healthy and affordable travel

Alice Roberts of CPRE London will be discussing ideas on how local plans can be changed to better support healthy and affordable local travel at DTAGs monthly Zoom catchup on Tuesday 14th January at 10am.

On the agenda will be: –

  1. Promoting Local Plan policies (a) zero-car development (b) allocation of town-centre and retail car parks for development (c) intensification of low-density sites (d) underpinning of Local Plans with modeshift targets
  2. Promoting the positive social, economic and environmental impacts of these policies, including ‘health-positive’ and ‘age-positive’ development, and how they can support delivery of more affordable homes alongside financially viable public transport

Link and agenda to be sent soon, but pop this in your diary now if you are interested, and make sure you are signed up to our email list, which you can do in the footer of our website.
