In a week dominated by the threatened cuts to the X51 and X53 bus services, on Sunday 21st September, three members of the DTAG committee travelled on the new extended No10 service from Poundbury to Weymouth as far as Dorchester Market and then back.
This revised service provides a service on Winter Sundays to and from the heart of Poundbury for the first time in many years.
Stewart Palmer, Chair of Dorchester Transport Action Group, said “This is a commercial service so will only continue if people use it. We would like to thank First Wessex for adopting our suggestion and urge all local residents to give it a try”.
